There’s racing fast. But, there’s also living fast; where you dodge traffic, fold for the train, or carry your bike into the office. This year, Brompton bridged both worlds with a Tour de France tribute built for everyday riding. Two models. Two finishes. And just two of each for all of Canada – both at Pedaal.

The Race, Reimagined

Brompton teamed up with two of the Tour’s most iconic photographers—Pauline Ballet and Charly Lopez—to transform the frame into a rolling snapshot of the race. From breakaways to mountain climbs, their images are wrapped around each bike in an abstract print that only reveals its story when you slow down and take a close look. That’s the thing about a Brompton, it’s faster than walking, transit or driving, but it also slows you down. That silence in your day, that place where you truly mobilize yourself – that’s what gives you speed.

From the Lens to the Frame

Pauline Ballet, a Rouleur Photographer of the Year based in Paris, is known for capturing cycling’s most poetic moments. That means streaks of rain, solitary climbs, the silence before the sprint. Charly Lopez brings the chaos: helicopters, motion blur, and that shot you saw on the cover of L’Équipe. Together, they gave Brompton a visual language that blends the elegance of the Tour with the edge of the street.

Transferring those images onto a bike wasn’t simple. Each Brompton frame is hand-built in London, powder-coated, and then wrapped in a vacuum-formed film using a process called sublimation printing. It’s heated and pressurized to permanently fuse the image into the finish – so it’s as weatherproof and durable as it is striking. The result is smooth, light, and resistant to everything from UV rays to coffee spills.

The P Line: Built to Move

Weighing in under 10kg, the Brompton x Tour de France P Line is for riders who treat city streets like a stage. The titanium rear frame and fork shave grams without giving up strength. Up front, you’ll spot the Sprinters Dark Green frame tube, the Future White bar support pin, and Leaders Yellow grips – subtle nods to the jersey hierarchy. The Schwalbe One tanwalls are race-slick and quick, and the King of the Mountains saddle adds a hint of altitude to your commute.

A Tour de France mudguard flap and puncture pouch (with yellow multi-tool) round out the details. Even the cardboard box is custom. Blink and you’ll miss them – just two landed in Canada.

The C Line: Classic Steel, New Story

This one’s for the daily riders who still dream in mountain stages. The C Line Tour de France edition starts with Brompton’s signature all-steel frame, hand-built and hand-finished in Black Lacquer, with Leaders Yellow forks and printed artwork across the main tube. A Tour de France saddle, ergonomic grips, and integrated Brompton Toolkit bring comfort and function to the city grind.

As for finishing touches? The Schwalbe Marathon Racer tanwalls keep things fast and durable, while the Tour de France mudguard flap are considered little details. You can buy it because it’s a collectible or because it races like a stallion.
