How does this work?
Great question! When you place a pre-order, we check with Brompton to confirm availability (which is the case 99% of the time) and then reach out to confirm your order. This is the perfect time to ask any questions about the model, handlebar type, or color options – we’re Brompton experts and happy to help! Once confirmed, we place the order and keep you updated throughout the process.
When will my pre-order arrive?
A bike from the USA typically takes about two weeks to arrive. While rare, Canadian customs can occasionally hold shipments for 1–2 weeks. Bikes from the UK generally take 1–2 months, though additional delays can occur due to customs inspections, ocean storms, port congestion, or ground shipping issues.
Can I option to ship a bike by air from the UK?
Of course! Once the bike is produced, air shipment generally takes one week (barring customs). But, air shipping these days is a moving target in terms of cost, so please contact us for current rates.
What happens if the item is delayed?
We keep a close eye on all pre-orders and update you on its present status.
Do I have to pay in full upfront?
Nope, you are paying a $500 deposit. To view the prices on each bike check this link.
Is your USA and UK Brompton Inventory Live?
Pretty close! We update the inventory from the USA daily and the UK is based on firm production windows provided by Brompton.
If I see the bike in stock in the USA, is that guaranteed in stock?
In the extremely rare case that you place an order and the bike is out of stock by the time we request it from Brompton USA, you are entitled to a full refund.
Can I change my order after placing it?
Sure! Just be aware that if we don’t have the bike in stock, it might involve another pre-order.
Can I refund the bike after I place a pre-order?
After you place a pre-order, we’ll contact you within 24 hours to confirm details, answer any questions, and add any accessories you’d like. Full refunds are available until the order is confirmed. Once confirmed, the deposit becomes a store credit.
Are there any extra fees?
We ship to all major cities in Canada for reasonable rates, but if you are somewhere remote we might have to charge you a bit extra. Contact us with your mailing address and we’re happy to give you a quote! info@pedaal.com
