Cape Coffee – Edil Quinayas

Edil began working as a travelling coffee picker at the age of 12. He and two others decided to walk from Cauca to San Augustin along a path known as El Camino Real. Upon his arrival, he became part of a larger workers’ collective who worked diligently to achieve recognition and land for over 60 indigenous families. On these parcels of land Edil began planting his own coffee trees. This washed Pink Bourbon has a berry-like sweetness and a lively acidity. It has notes of chocolate orange, sour candy and limeade.
