Dak Coffee – Blackberry Dust

Juicy blackberry and wild strawberry give Blackberry Dust its generous fruit sweetness, while notes of blueberry yoghurt bring a soft, creamy finish. This limited release from Ethiopia’s Guji region is one of DAK’s favourites, and an inviting choice for anyone who loves a berry-filled filter coffee.

Around 400 smallholder farmers contribute to Buku Abel Washing Station, growing heirloom varieties at elevations between 1,900 and 2,100 metres. Many tend small plots alongside food crops and shade trees. After picking and sorting, the whole cherries dry on raised beds, where they’re regularly turned and carefully monitored. It’s a traditional natural process that lets the coffee’s fruit and sweetness shine.
