Escape – Cottage

This season, Escape’s longstanding Cottage coffee moves to Nariño with a washed blend from three farms in the Buesaco Jardines community. Grown between 2,100 and 2,400 metres, these coffees develop slowly in Nariño’s cool mountain climate, producing the concentrated sweetness and lively acidity for which the region is celebrated. Baked apple gives the cup a soft, comforting sweetness, grapefruit brings a bright and juicy edge and brown sugar provides a rich, lingering finish. It is beautifully balanced and distinctly Nariño: vibrant enough to demand attention, but inviting enough to brew every morning.
