Escape – Pink Bourbon #3

Pink Bourbon has earned its reputation for a reason. Floral, candy-like, and intensely aromatic, it’s a variety that can turn almost electric when grown well. The Hernández family pulls that out beautifully at Finca Los Nogales in Huila, where high elevation at 1700 MASL and careful washed processing give the coffee both lift and precision. The fermentation here is especially thoughtful, using the coffee’s own fruit sugars and native yeast to build complexity without losing clarity.

In the cup, it’s vivid from the first sip. Hubba Bubba sweetness jumps out immediately, followed by soft mauve florals and a deep plum note that keeps the whole thing grounded. There’s a playful side to it, but the structure stays clean and composed throughout. Juicy, perfumed, and unmistakably Pink Bourbon.
